The Wedding Guild assists Father Lyon with the practical logistics of wedding organization. Members of the Guild are assigned to work with prospective brides and grooms in the planning of details surrounding the wedding liturgy.

Such tasks as explaining usher duties, organizing the processions into and out of the church, directing family seating, assisting the priest with the rehearsal and helping to coordinate the wedding day are handled by Guild members. The Guild also makes sure the bride and groom are informed that they are to have their conferences with the parish musician and Flower Guild in a timely fashion.

Guild members work in teams of two and they typically have their planning sessions with their assigned bride and groom on Sundays either before or after the 10:30 Mass.
