Saint Brigit’s Guild
St. Bridget’s Guild is a small, informal service and social group of ladies who meet on the second Wednesday morning of each month in the Parish Hall. We often go out for lunch together or simply visit over light snacks at the church.
Our primary service ministry is to provide small gifts, supplies or treats for the children at The Children’s Garden around holidays, such as Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Christmas. The Children’s Garden is a licensed and accredited child-care center on the campus of Columbia College that serves children and families in serious crisis.
We have also collect supplies for Hannah House, which serves women and their children who are in need of shelter and training to help them return to productive lives in the community.
St. Bridget’s Guild members also assist as needed in setting up and serving the meals at our church for friends and family following a Requiem Mass.
